Marlene's Music offers a variety of private lessons for all ages and skill levels. Students are taught the basics necessary to play and then the lessons are customized to each students' musical interests and goals.

Basic skills are considered to be open chords, simple strumming and picking, chord charts, tuning, guitar care, playing familiar songs, simple music theory, music resources, tablature and performance skills. Students continue to build on these basic skills by adding more challenging and advanced skills, techniques and music.

Students are taught weekly lessons either Private (one-on-one), Semi-private (two students) or Group (3 or more students). Students in Semi-private and Group lessons are placed together based on skill level and age. Lessons are taught on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, during the summer on Wednesdays only.
